Kevin Burke is a Professor of Electronic Media at the University of Cincinnati, where he has taught media production and theory since 1996. His work has been recognized by the Cable Ace Awards, Telly Awards, National Broadcasting Society, Communicator Awards, and Broadcast Education Association. Most recently, he served as Executive Producer for the 2012 Gold Rush Expedition Race documentary that won the Broadcast Education Association's Best of Festival Award and aired on NBC's Universal Sports Network. In 2011, he was named an Academic Fellow by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Brian J. Leitten currently serves as the executive producer for the award winning Gold Rush Expedition Race Documentary Series. He is a multi award-winning producer and director that built his reputation working extensively with MTV and the music industry. He started his own production company, Hyperion XIII Productions, and has spent his time focusing on adventure programming, filming in the Alaskan wilderness, Chilean Patagonia and Antarctica. He executive produced and directed The Last Wild Race, a documentary on the 2011 Wenger Patagonian Expedition Race, which world premiered at the Killarney Adventure Film Festival in April 2011 and walked away winner of the Adventure Sport category. Brian is currently the Director of Production at Vevo, the world’s leading
all-premium music video and entertainment platform.

Professor Burke's breadth of professional experience as a visual communication digital designer ranges from concept building, content production, structuring, designing, animation, editing, programming and encoding. She has produced interactive narrative and documentary projects that garnered multiple national awards from the Telly Awards, the Broadcast Education Association Media Arts Festival's Interactive Multimedia Best of Competition Award, and the King Foundation Best of Festival Award. Prior to her tenure with the University of Cincinnati, Professor Burke worked professionally for over a decade in the area of digital design, where she produced web/multimedia content for a number of Fortune 500 clients.

Sam Salwei is a modern day Nomad, traveling coast to coast living a lifestyle that is uniquely his own. Initially driven by his passion for
Eco-Adventure, life on the road began in 2004, quickly leading into a diverse career encompassing adventure-racing, rock climbing and slacklining. In 2005, Sam co-created the company “Yoga Slackers”, specializing in combining Yoga poses on a Slackline as well as integrating other body awareness practices such as partner acrobatics. Despite the misleading nature of the name, the “slackers” are quite accomplished athletes gaining the support of over 20 different sponsors, who share in

Lorin Edwin Parker is an interdisciplinary artist, audio engineer, musician and educator. He is a veteran of film, television, and music production in Los Angeles. He has worked on a diverse number of projects for various studios as a foley artist, sound engineer, sound editor, and sound mixer. He has worked on productions with Smart Post Sound (formerly Technicolor), A&E Television, as well as many major studios and independent production companies. His creative work outside film spans many disciplines and includes installation pieces, musical compositions, sound art, video art, performance art, music for dance, sound for film and the creation of novel electronic instruments and performance interfaces. His compositions have been published and performed worldwide, and Parker performs regularly in large venues throughout the United States. His writing is widely published in both academic and popular periodicals. Currently, Parker is an Assistant Professor of Electronic Media at the College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati.

Raquel’s journey started in the realm of healing arts through Pranic Healing and Reiki. Her goal was to use Hatha Yoga as a tool to help her body sustain her meditation practices. After earning a Masters Degree, she journeyed to India to acquire the first of many yoga certifications. Years later she became certified as a AcroYoga and YogaSlackers Teacher. She found that through both practices she could inspire others to learn and growth through play. She still uses her extensive scientific background to keep herself intellectually stimulated and plugged into the thrill of solving complicated puzzles.
